The LAGRANGE laboratory is a joint research unit (UMR 7293) depending on three agencies: CNRS, Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur and the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (UNS). It aims to develop multidisciplinary research activities in the field of astrophysics, mechanical and processing of signals and images as well as a major effort to offer courses related to these themes. Thematic teams revolve around the formation and evolution of planetary systems, solar and stellar physics, galaxies and cosmology, signal processing, and finally the non-linear dynamics.
The JMMC is the French Center for Infrared and Optical Interferometry. It provides support for the users of the astronomical interferometers currently in operation around the world.
The Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur has a remarkable architectural and scientific heritage, which is open to the public. But far from looking to the past, OCA remains an internationally recognized center for research in Earth Sciences and Astronomy
